DJ Josh, also known as Joshua Daniel, is an up-and-coming DJ and producer who is currently making waves across Kuala Lumpur and other places outside from where he is based, such as Johor and Langkawi.  Josh is known for his music selections in different genres. He is able to understand his audience's tastes, typically playing R&B, Hip Hop, Afrobeats, the 2000s, and Top 50s. He has been complimented by many of his classic song selections ranging from the 90s and 00s.

Josh was exposed to music at a young age and was in the entertainment industry at the age of 17. He first started working in the nightlife industry as a club ambassador/promoter/marketeer at the age of 18 and was a marketing director at the age of 22. He currently is running his own entertainment company called Westside Entertainment providing marketing and DJ services to many famous speakeasy bars.  He has acquired various skills and experiences throughout his journey which led to him becoming a DJ, a hobby of his during the Movement Control Order. He says: "I sold my PlayStation 4 during MCO to raise funds to purchase a DJ controller and taught myself how to be a DJ."

In just five months, Josh started playing his first few gigs and immediately gained a following for his music. Eight months later, he had his biggest gig yet, performing a 4hr set for about 1,000 people at Escape (Langkawi)'s New Year's Eve Countdown party.  Josh has been following and perfecting his skills in mixing and DJ-ing under the guidance and wisdom of DJ Freazz and DJ Biggie.

DJ Josh's journey is one that will never stop evolving. He continues to challenge himself by studying, observing, and learning new skills in order to reach the top of his game and beyond. His ambition and passion for what he does is something that will surely be admired by anyone who encounters his work in the future.
